We hired Forward Communications after a recommendation from one of our suppliers. Greer and her team started working with us just one month after we had launched Dairy-Free Down Under, which is a brand of dairy-free cheeses and dips. Greer’s really smart and creative, but she has extensive knowledge of the health foods and retail sector, which she weaves into her work. All her team members are professional, creative and great to work with. We still keep the Brand Shrine she developed for us on the wall and refer to it all the time. The level of service and media coverage has been above and beyond. In our 30 years within the food manufacturing industry, I’ve never come across a service quite like this. Sometimes I even feel guilty about how much media attention we’re getting. My wife and I were pretty nervous about our first TV interviews, but with Greer and her team’s encouragement, we felt supported. The photoshoot was a particular highlight. Greer was conscious of our budget, so instead of bringing in models, she suggested we make it a family photoshoot, as we’re a family business after all. She set us up in a countryside house, brought together a creative team who styled my wife and daughters and brought lots of fun to the day. The product shots were superb and we’re still using them a year on. Because of her background, Greer does more than just PR. She’s someone who I also contact for business advice and to bounce ideas with.

We engaged Forward Communications to help us communicate results from a Lincoln Institute industry-wide survey that delved into the reasons behind the veterinary industry’s high attrition rates. The data was as complex, as it was confronting for our industry, but Greer navigated us through to produce a media release that truthfully reflected the narrative behind the data. It was our first foray into the world of media. Greer did an incredible job in extracting our story, which she did through reading the research results and then conducting in-depth interviews with both myself and my colleague. Greer’s precision when it came to targeting influential media and the uncanny way in which she predicted results allowed us to conduct our first interviews with confidence. We achieved phenomenal media coverage throughout radio, TV, print, industry and online media. The story actually went international and was picked up via the UK’s Guardian. The media coverage generated extensive conversations, which are informing the next phase of our recommendations. One of the TV news stories received an additional 100,000 views, almost 1,000 shares and hundreds of comments on Facebook, prompting me to join the platform for the first time. Both myself and my colleagues were truly moved by comments made by those in the veterinary industry who came forward to share their stories, after Greer helped us share ours. I don’t think we could have raised this level of industry awareness with such traction and sensitivity using any other method. The campaign has definitely heightened the Lincoln Institute's connection to the veterinary industry. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Greer – she’s smart, engaging and very professional.
